We just stayed for 6 nights in mid July. We had a heatwave which brought its own issue with these houses. The kitchen is a conservatory so once the sun comes out its unbearably hot.

Loved the location, very close to the sea. Finally there is only irish channels on the tv. There is access to netflix and prime but internet is so poor it wont stream withoutconstant buffering. That all being said, the location is excellent and we had a good holiday. Would go back to the area but perhaps not hookless holiday homes. Other places of interest are Duncannon Fort, Tintern Abbey and Colclough Walled Gardens to name a few. If you are more interested in a fast paced exciting trip look no further than Sheilbaggan Outdoor Adventure Centre, Hooked Kite Surfing or Abbey Par 3 Crazy Golf & Footgolf.

The Hook peninsula has no shortage of dining options from fine dining in Aldridge Lodge to fresh Seafood caught that day in Templar's Inn.
